How do you break up with your boyfriend gently?

I got a boyfriend and i have to break up with him,i mean he follows me like everywhere,he won't let me out of his site!How do you break up with your boyfriend gently?
Don't do it ';gently.'; You'll end up lying to avoid hurting his feelings, and then you'll feel like he doesn't understand you when he doesn't know what's going on. Think of it instead as ';not unnecessarily harshly.';

I know its gonna be hard. But if he follows you around then it should be easy to find him. i think that you should just say that the relationship isn't working out and you guys need to just be friends. its the best way to do it. Don't text him the break up either do it in person its the best way!!! hope all ends well!!!
Oh please dont tell the guy you'd rather be just friends. That is soo lame. Unless you honestly feel that both of you are mature enough to have a friendship after a relationship. But I doubt it b/c you're not exactly breaking up on good terms.

Just tell him this isnt working out anymore that you feel the relationship is headed in different directions and you think it'd be best to end this now before you just drag it out because its the best for both of you.
Well he's doing that because he cares about you. But if you dont like him and what he does bothers you then just sit him down and talk to him try to work something out. If it dosent work out then just tell him how you feel and try to explain to him what he is doing wrong. Breaking up is always hard and there no way to do it gently. Just be nice and put yourself into his shoes and imgain how you would feel in his place. Treat him how u would wanna get treated.:) goodluck i wish you the best.

Just tell him its time to get a new boyfriend. tell him hes free to get laid now and he should be happy as ****. Oh and you dont need to break up with him. tell one of his friends to tell him not to be so clining. if none of my info works. kill his *** !
Tell him the truth of why you're breaking up with him,

to lie is such a sissy thing to do..

say what you love about him,

but that this is just really bothering you and you'd rather be friends,

and if that's okay? :)

What I did was I just said thanks for being such a great person to me but I think its time we see other people. Dont say why just say I dont think we are right for each other but I really hope we can still be friends :) God bless
